The IEP Prep-Kit

Walking into an IEP or 504 meeting is stressful — especially the first one, and especially when you’re not sure what you’re even allowed to ask for. The IEP Prep-Kit puts a calm, clear plan in your hands so you’re not walking in alone or guessing.

Tell us about your child and the meeting you’re facing, and we’ll build you a custom kit that includes:

• Your meeting script — what to say, in plain words, including how to respond calmly if the school pushes back.
• Your rights, in plain English — the IDEA and Section 504 principles that apply to your situation, framed as what you can request and what the school must consider.
• Accommodations to request — a prioritized list of specific supports that fit your child’s needs, to bring to the team.
• The questions to ask — the ones that keep the meeting focused on your child and get real answers.
• A written parent concerns statement — ready to read aloud or hand to the team to put your concerns on the record.
• A meeting-day checklist — what to bring and what to do, before, during, and after.

How it works: after you order, you’ll complete a short intake questionnaire about your child and the meeting. Your responses will help create a specialize kit for your child, emailed to you within 48 hours.

Advocates can cost $75–$200 an hour and hundreds of dollars per meeting. The Prep-Kit is a one-time $39, and it works even if this is your very first meeting and your child doesn’t have an IEP yet.
